John Cleese is selling his Bentley Eight and throwing in some memorabilia and a lunch on him to the winning bidder. It probably won’t make much of a dent in the reported $1 million a year he has to pay his ex-wife number three, but for John Cleese, every little helps. Madcap Swiss manufacturer Rinspeed has announced a typically bonkers concept car: a transparent Radical rival. The two-seater eXasis will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March, as a potential rival to the likes of Radicals and Caterhams. Rinspeed's show car uses a small engine in a lightweight 750kg structure for astonishing performance.
Volkswagen is building the business case for a large SUV in the United States. The vehicle is a key to the company's plan to nearly double the VW brand's U.S. sales to 800,000 units by 2018.
